We welcome Becca Bruce to the elite Home of the Month award winners.
She moved into her house in 2003, drawn by the location, the neighborhood, and the size of the yard (not too big to handle but not too small to run out of space before running out of ideas). She is so glad she moved here. Over the years, one time neighbors, have become good friends.
Becca enjoys working in the yard, creating a beautiful area that she can share with friends. She added a brick path in the front yard to create a garden space. A local purchase, the statue, Ferdinand the Flamingo, at the Prairie Village Art Fair several years ago, makes the garden even more special. Many of the plants in her yard have sentimental value, either gifts from friends or family. Becca looks forward to a mild summer so she can continue to enjoy her Prairie Village community while toiling in the garden.
