Our Home of the Month for May 2019 is 4519 W 69th Terrace.Homeowners Randy Wood and Brandon Fulson bought the house in May of 2010, after living in the Waldo area for some time. Here is Randy’s response when asked why he loves living in Prairie Village:
“We have lots of reasons for loving Prairie Village. When we bought the house, we liked that we could walk to get coffee, eat out, and now even go to movies. We have always said though, that our greatest treasure is our fabulous neighbors. We have one of the most active and fun blocks in the area. During the summer months, you will see groups of neighbors sitting out in lawn chairs enjoying a drink and socializing. We have an event called “Flamingle” (flamingos and mingling combined) where different neighbors will volunteer to have drinks and snacks on their drive– for all to enjoy. The other thing we love about our street are the beautiful oak trees that line our block. We take great pride in our home and yard, and do all we can to keep it looking vibrant and alive!”
