Amy and John Ferry share their home with their daughters Katherine, 12 and Paige, 9 and their adorable dog Scout.
Amy shared her thoughts on what she loves about her home:
“John and I lived in a mid century modern home in old Leawood before moving to Prairie Village. We were looking for a mid century with a bit more space for our family of 4. We are drawn to the clean lines, large glass windows, open spaces and the overall simplicity inherent to the mid century style. When we found out about one currently undergoing renovation in PV, we jumped at the chance. We’ve now lived here for 9 years and couldn’t be happier. We love the unique elements that make these homes feel special,….the windows that create an integration with nature, the changes in elevation of various rooms that provide visual interest and make our home feel unique. What’s even more wonderful, is that we share a neighborhood/cul de sac with fellow mid century home enthusiasts who have become some of our closest friends…a group of families with young children who are grateful to live in homes we love in a community as special as Prairie Village.”
